Lived at Bramhope Hall, near Leeds, Yorkshire, England. The house no longer exists.
Married 1817​.
Children Caroline 1818, James 1819, Ann 1820, William 1821, Godfrey 1823, Francis 1825, and then Ann died in 1827.
Everybody on the Rhodes family tree is descended from these two.
These lovely paintings of Ann Smith and William Rhodes are from about 1820, before photography was invented! Thanks to Ainslie Stephen and Lew Evans.
